Biography:
Jana currently a Senior Associate and Head of Department of Intellectual Property. She is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with many years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a certificate in Corporate Law. She is an Associate of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law (SAIIPL). Her expertise include Trade Mark Prosecution and Litigation, Designs, Copyright, Domain Disputes, Cyber Law and IT Law in particular relating to Software and Internet Agreements, Intellectual Property Law, Intellectual Property Litigation, Company Law and Commercial Law. She also has experience in the practice and procedure of the High Court and Magistrate Court. She is currently Head of Department in the Intellectual Property Law Department, and will assume the position of Director as from 1 April 2021.
