Ireze van Wyk
Strategic decision making for Small Business
Ms Ireze van Wyk is a lecturer in the Department of Business Management at the University of South Africa, since 2011. She taught General Management as second year level and received an Award for Excellence in Tuition in 2014. In 2019 she was granted a scholarship to work on her current studies full-time and at home.
Her MCom degree (Cum Laude) focused on Business Ethics, more specifically ethical culture within a financial setting. In 2015 she was awarded the School of Management Sciences 2015 Research Award for obtaining her MCom. She is currently pursuing her PhD full-time in Business Management at the University of South Africa, with a focus on ethical strategic decision making in Small and Medium Enterprises.
She has served on numerous committees, such as the School of Management Sciences EXCO committee, the Ethics Research Committee and the Departmental MANCOM committee. Being a developing researcher, she has published in accredited journals, and co-authored a book in the field Business Management.
